This historic neighborhood is blessed with a beautiful view of Commencement Bay, a small and intimate enclave that stretches from Stadium Way to Yakima Avenue, 2nd Avenue to North 4th Street.

This neighborhood is named after its most well-known landmark, Stadium High School. Originally imagined as a luxury hotel designed to imitate a French Chateau.

Stroll down tree-lined streets and take in the sights of unique custom-built homes. This very walkable neighborhood boasts great views and historic buildings. The small center has accessible sidewalks and amazing niche small businesses.

Every great neighborhood needs a hangout. The 1916 Elks Temple has been restored and re-imagined into a vibrant gathering place for out-of-town guests and locals alike.

From the Old Hangout, a bar reminiscent of world travels, to the Spanish Ballroom, a grand space hosting live music, you’ll find entertainment at every turn. Threads of art, history and elements of the local community are woven into the structure. Wherever you are in Elks Temple, you’ll find the comforts of your favorite neighborhood pub and a world of adventure.

Members of the Tacoma Lawn Tennis Club enjoy beautiful facilities in a historic setting. This Tacoma staple was founded in 1886 by a small group of women who loved tennis. Now a premier tennis facility this club offers indoor and outdoor courts, a pool, 24/7 gym, and Summer social events.

For a fun day trip with the kids stop by Wright Park. 27 acres of old trees from all over the country with educational plaques. The Botanical Conservatory showcases a variety of beautiful plants. The park has several playgrounds and even a “spray ground” for the kids and young of heart to cool down in the Summer. There is so much to see you do in this vibrant neighborhood.
