If you’re looking to buy a home in Tacoma, downtown the downtown Tacoma real estate has it all.

Downtown Tacoma is truly the thriving heart of Pierce County. After the University of Washington Campus moved here the whole area started evolving. Now you can find a plethora of wonderful restaurants and little shops dotting Pacific Avenue and beyond.

The Museum of Glass created by world-famous artist Dale Chihuly is a must see. Check the website to find out when they offer free entrance. The waterfront sculpture park and the inside of the courthouse feature beautiful works of art including many Chihuly pieces.

Make sure to cross the bridge of glass for even more art and a view of the Foss Marina. Several other museums are located here including the LeMay Car Museum, the Children’s Museum, the Washington State History Museum, and more.

Here you will find an abundance of new apartment buildings and beautiful lofts in restored vintage buildings. Downtown is replete with hotels, a convention center, several hospitals, and many business offices with many gorgeous homes for sale just a few blocks from Pacific Avenue.

Some local favorites you must see are The Grand Cinema, a local film house playing documentaries and independent films and serving popcorn with real butter!

Quicky Too is a family run vegan Jamaican restaurant that highlights the awesome diversity and soul of Tacoma.

In the heart of Downtown, there are several excellent options for fine dining. Pacific Grill will provide you with award-winning Seafood and Steaks.

Up the street at El Gaucho, you’ll find a high-end, old-school steakhouse & bar offering an elegant, dimly lit setting with live music.
